The drive takes approximately half an hour from the downtown Tacoma area, with similar travel times from other areas in town.

From North Tacoma and areas north of 38th Street, proceed to I-5 North. Follow this to Exit 135 onto WA 167. Continue for about three miles, making a few small turns to reconnect with 167. Turn left at 66th Avenue East, then right at N Levee Road E. Travel 2.3 miles, take a right at Meridian, and then another right to merge onto WA 167 N, following signs for 410 E toward Sumner/Yakima. After roughly six miles, turn left at 198th Avenue E, then right at Sumner-Buckley Highway E. The fair will be on the left.

For those traveling from areas south of 38th Street, such as Parkland and Puyallup, it may be quicker and easier to take I-5 to 512 East, which leads directly into 167, then follow the instructions provided above.
