Explore Yellowstone National Park with Airstream’s Portable Park
Trailer company Airstream has announced a curated content program that highlights spectacular scenes and landscapes from some of America’s most breathtaking public lands. Shot by Academy Award-nominated filmmaking team, MacGillivray Freeman, the first installment focuses on the superb beauty of Yellowstone National Park.
Portable Park aims to capture the spirit of America’s natural wonders through immersive HD footage. Yellowstone, the first installment in the series, debuted on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, along with a video guide to the park’s top-rated campgrounds for when it is safe to visit once again. When the loop setting is enabled, televisions, mobile devices, and monitors serve as an immersive window to the great outdoors, showcasing powerful images of the park.
“Due to current travel restrictions and quarantine orders in place due to COVID-19, Airstream wanted to inspire people to dream and plan for the day when we will once again cross deserts, navigate mountains, and sleep alongside babbling brooks and crashing waves. To stoke dreams and soothe wanderers’ souls, Airstream is bringing America’s most majestic outdoor places to the home. Portable Park: Yellowstone delivers the experience of the nation’s first National Park in words and images that will prompt memories, fuel imaginations, and ignite plans for travel post-pandemic,” a representative of Airstream stated.
The content includes stunning drone footage showcasing the park’s winding rivers and green hills, lush forests, and incredible volcanic geysers as seen from above. America’s oldest herd of bison can be seen roaming throughout the video, along with wolves.
According to Airstream, the reaction to the content has been overwhelmingly positive, with the site receiving a high number of views and engagement from individuals dreaming of once again returning to the great outdoors.
