Experience

Zain Deane is a former writer for iBestTravel who authored numerous travel articles about Puerto Rico, Florida, and Mexico for nearly eight years. He has significant ties to Puerto Rico, having visited family there throughout his life, which has inspired him to publish various articles and guides based on his experiences.

In 2006, Zain founded Writers’ Bloc, Inc., a freelance writing company that specializes in the travel and financial services industries. Since then, he has authored three notable guidebooks: Great Destinations: San Juan, Vieques & Culebra, published in November 2007; Backroads and Byways of Florida, released in January 2009; and Great Destinations: Mexico City, Puebla & Cuernavaca, published in November 2009.

Moreover, Deane has published travel articles covering iconic destinations such as Karachi, London, Madrid, Mexico City, and Sydney, alongside many cities across the United States. He frequently travels to Puerto Rico, whether for writing assignments or family visits. As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, he is also an award-winning fiction writer whose short stories have been featured in various national literary journals.

Education

Deane graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University.
